Job Title: Electrician Apprentice

Job Type: Full-time (40 hours/week)

Work Location: Woodstock, NB

Job description:

Ironwood Modular Solutions is looking for a motivated and reliable Electrician Apprentice to join our electrical team in our new state of the art modular manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in electrical theory and hands-on experience and will work under an Electrician Supervisor. This role involves installing and testing electrical systems in residential modular homes. We offer year-round employment in a controlled environment, a company pension plan & full benefits, an overtime top-up of $3/hr, and a minimum of 3 weeks paid vacation.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics

• Troubleshoot and resolve problems in electrical circuits

• Install and connect power supply, wiring, cables, conduit etc.

• Participate in safe work practices

• Maintain positive, professional business relations with clients and coworkers

Requirements:

• 2 + years experience as a residential construction electrician

• Completion of first and second year in-school apprenticeship training

• Strong understanding of electrical theory, controls, and installation practices

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Need to be self-driven

• High attention to detail, work productively and take pride in workmanship

• Physically able to perform job duties (lifting, climbing ladders, working at heights)
