Reporting to the president, the ideal candidate will play a key role in the design, analysis, and optimization of modular building systems. The engineer will collaborate closely with the design team and production team to ensure structural integrity, efficiency, and compliance with Canadian building codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze structural systems for modular buildings using advanced engineering principles.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate structural solutions into modular design workflows.

  • Conduct structural assessments and provide recommendations for improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

  • Support the development and refinement of modular construction techniques and processes.

  • Participate in R&D initiatives to enhance structural performance and sustainability.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the design and production teams.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in structural engineering.

  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) License in Canada.

  • Proven experience in modular construction is required.

  • Proficiency in structural analysis software.

  • Knowledge of Graphisoft Archicad is considered a strong asset.

  • Familiarity with Canadian building codes and standards.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
